So you can master the perfect cup at home.
French Press
The French Press is one of the easiest methods for making coffee. You want your grind size to be coarse. With a finer ground you risk over-extracting the coffee and getting grit in the cup.
Aeropress
Aeropress is the quickest and most portable brew of methods. It only yields about 200ml of coffee (a little over half your standard diner mug), but the coffee is a lot stronger that a normal cup.
Chemex
The Chemex pour over method offers a great balance in terms of ease of use and cup quality. The glass container helps create a very clean taste with no bitterness. Plus, it acts as its own carafe!
V60
The V60 pour over is probably one of the most preferred methods for the connoisseurs, particularly when brewing a light roast. It’s easy to learn and fun to experiment with to produce the “perfect” cup.
